• What are live classes and how do I book one?

    Live classes are the perfect way for you to stay active from home. Your favorite gyms and studios are available for you through the smart device of your choice: Join a fun class from your living room, or do some yoga from the park. As long as you have an Internet connection, you can take a class from wherever you like!

    You can book live classes in the same way as you would normally book in-person classes through Gympass (check out how to do it). Please remember you can book live classes only through the app.

    You just need to visit the gym profile where you’d like to book a class. Here we’ll show you a calendar where you can pick your desired date and choose the class you’d like to attend.

  • What are personal training sessions and how do I book one?

    Live classes can come in many shapes, but we thought you’d love to have personal training sessions, so here they are. Personal trainers are a great way to start your wellness journey when you are a beginner, or boost your experience when you are at a more advanced level. 

    These sessions are 1:1 between you and a qualified personal trainer (isn’t that amazing?). You can access up to 8 sessions a month and each session is 30 minutes long.

    Personal trainers have dedicated profile pages where you can book your sessions from (check how to do it), see their areas of expertise, or their contact details. Please remember you can book personal training sessions only through the app.

     

  • Does a live class consume my daily check-in?

    Yes, it does :) Remember that you have one check-in a day to use Gympass’ services, no matter the one you choose: live classes (group classes or personal training sessions) or gyms visits. 

     

  • Do I need to check in?

    Not needed! We integrated all live classes (and this includes personal training sessions) with our system, so we’ll check you in to the class automatically.

    When the time comes, you just need to click on “Join”, you’ll be redirected to the streaming platform chosen by the gym or the personal trainer, and that’s it. Enjoy! 

     

  • Are live classes ever pre-recorded?

    No, classes and personal training are always live-streamed so that the instructors can give you recommendations, help, suggestions and, overall, customize your experience.  

     

     

  • Will personal trainers offer both online and in-person sessions?

    At the moment, personal training sessions are online only. This also gives you the flexibility to join a session from wherever you are, as long as you have your phone and an Internet connection. 

  • Can I join live classes or 1:1 sessions from other countries?

    You can only join classes and personal training sessions from your own country. This means you don’t have to stick only to your city, but can explore the offer from all over the country, try that! It’s fun!

  • How do I join when the time comes?

    We’ve enabled 3 different ways to join a live class or a personal training session, so that you can choose the one that is most convenient for you:

    • Through the confirmation email we send you when you book a class
    • Through the Class schedule on your Homepage
    • Through the gym profile or the personal trainer profile
  • Do I need any other app to join live classes?

    You might! It will depend on the streaming platform chosen by the gym or the personal trainer. On the confirmation email, you should receive a few tips from the partner on how to join the class, which platform to use, if you need a password to enter, etc.

    If they don’t provide you with this information, please make sure to check with them in advance so that you can enjoy a smooth experience at the moment of joining.  

     

  • How many personal training sessions can I access per month?

    You can access 8 sessions a month! All the other days of the month you will still have one available check-in to attend classes, visit gyms or whatever you like :) 

     

  • Can I cancel a booking I’ve made?

    Of course you can! The quickest way to do that is to check your Class schedule on your Homepage and tap on the class you’d like to cancel the booking for. You’ll be sent to the gym’s (or personal trainer’s) profile, where you can click on Cancel and move forward until you cancel your booking.

    Important: For personal training sessions, please take into account that the personal trainer is saving a full half an hour only for you! For this reason, we’d like to ask you to cancel this type of session at least 5 hours in advance.

     

  • How does the live class cancellation policy work?

    You can cancel all your bookings for free.

    Please, in case you can’t attend a class you’ve booked, take a time to cancel your booking. All our partners rely on your attendance, need a bit of a preparation time, and look forward to seeing you in their classes.

    Important: For personal training sessions, please take into account that the personal trainer is saving a full half an hour only for you! For this reason, we’d like to ask you to cancel this type of session with at least 5 hours of advance notice. 

     

  • Will I be charged any fee for late-cancels or no-shows?

    The cancellation policy for live classes does not include any late-cancel or no-show fee.

    Nevertheless, we’d like to ask you to cancel your booking if you realize you can’t attend a class or a personal training session. All our partners rely on your attendance, need a bit of a preparation time, and look forward to seeing you in their classes.
