How do I add and activate a Family Members plan?

A wellness journey is always better with a buddy and Gympass allows our members to add a Family Member as a dependent on their plan. 

For each dependent you add to your plan, you will need to pay an additional membership fee. You can confirm the plan prices through the Add a Dependent option before purchasing a new membership.  Please note, some companies do not offer dependents as part of their benefit

Once you activate a plan, you will see the option to add a dependent on your Gympass setting and you can add up to 3 dependents. Since Gympass is offered as a benefit through employers, professional organizations, and health insurance, the company you access Gympass through determines who is eligible to be added as a dependent. Typically this means anyone your company would deem eligible for other workplace benefits such as close Family Members can be added.

📌It's important to know dependents can only be added if you have an active plan and are an eligible employee for our plan benefit. If you are dependent on someone else's plan, you will not be able to add a dependent to your account. 

  1. After logging into your app or website open your settings, select Invite Dependents or My dependent.
  2. You will be taken to a list of current dependents if you have them and there will be an option to Add a Dependent. After selecting Add a Dependent, you will see the price and plan options. 
  3. Select the plan you want your dependent to be on, add their email address, add their contact information and submit payment information for them.
  4. Once they have been added to your plan, our system will send them an email so that they can set up a password for their account and begin using Gympass.
Blue365 Users

You have access to add anyone listed as a dependent on your health insurance. They will create their own account through the Blue365 portal and not be considered a dependent on your Gympass membership.
